About MPNCanton

Mount Paran North has existed in Marietta since 1987. First as a campus of Mount Paran Church of God, then as a stand-alone church, beginning in 1997. At that time our Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul Walker was elected General Overseer of the Church of God, and his son, Dr. Mark Walker was appointed Senior Pastor of Mount Paran North..

With several thousand members and weekly attenders, Mount Paran North has always been about reaching the lost and helping the believer. However, in recent years, Pastor Mark has led us on an intentional journey emphasizing the spiritual growth and development of each person, and a greater desire to reach the lost for Christ.

Out of that desire was birthed the idea of a new ministry outreach of Mount Paran North.

In June of 2011, after much prayer and planning, we announced to our current congregation in Marietta that we were planning to open a new campus in Canton. Since that time more than 150 people have joined our launch team, committing to attend and serve at MPNCanton.

This is going to be an amazing journey!
