In response to the Great Commission to go into all the earth …we serve in partnership with MPN in the Himalayas of North India. Through preaching the Gospel we are seeing peoples reached and churches planted. In Mercy Ministries we are running a pre-school and are supporting ministries who are involved in helping the Poor and Destitute. Recently our work through the years to disciple and equip local leaders is bearing much fruit.
Short term teams have been involved in praying for the area and encouraging new believers through teaching or practical service, touching hearts with God’s love beyond cultural boundaries and building up the local body of Christ.
Our missionaries met and were married in North India. The Lord called them both out of secular work to serve Him full-time in Northern India. She, a nurse, reaches out to the poor and needy, helping to set up medical and primary healthcare ministries. She has a heart to reach out to the destitute and sick on the streets and in slums—to get them to safe surroundings. She is both a teacher of health issues and the Bible. In his work here, he is helping to disciple new believers. He is a Bible teacher with an emphasis on salvation, the Holy Spirit and other topics. Together they desire to see North India reached with God's love. They enjoy being with people to spur them on in their God-given giftings! Please join with them in prayer for the fast expansion of the Gospel among the unreached villages of India.
How they got here
Feeling called by God to make a difference in the world, in 1992 he left architecture to enter full-time missions. He served four years with Discipleship Training Schools in Scotland before transitioning to India. She, with a lifelong desire to help the poor and needy, traveled to India in 1991 for Discipleship Training School. A year later God led her to North India.
